South Kingstown Recognizes Recipients On National Medal Of Honor Day

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — The town of South Kingstown shared their gratitude for local recipients of the Medal of Honor on National Medal of Honor day Saturday.

The ceremony began with a bagpipe prelude and featured speakers including Town Manager Joe Patrick and several Medal of Honor recipients.

Citizens and recipients also spent time remembering those missing in action.

The town of South Kingstown was also named a Medal of Honor town two weeks ago.
