Wind chill near zero tonight!

The National Weather Service has issued WIND ADVISORY UNTIL 7 PM AND A GALE WARNING FOR THE OFFSHORE WATERS UNTIL 10 PM for all of Rhode Island. Wind will gust 30 to 40 mph as arctic air moves in this afternoon.

An arctic high pressure system builds in to deliver a very cold mid-winter Friday night and Saturday!

 

Saturday eve.  may feature some snow showers moving through but our focus is for next Monday-Tuesday when a significant winter storm could impact southern New England with snow. A storm could follow that one for Thursday!
