ICE agents ordered to temporarily stop vehicle stops after fatal shootings

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — After two deadly shootings in Texas and Maine, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) have been ordered to temporarily stop vehicle stops.

Multiple sources have told ABC News that officers with ICE will retrain on vehicle stops, adding a new training regime. Sources say the pause will be temporary.

According to a source, ICE agents will still use vehicle stops when investigating cases involving dangerous people.
