It finally cooled off
We cooled down quite a bit on Tuesday! As of 4pm, we were 20+ degrees colder than we were on Monday.
We will warm back up on Wednesday, but not to the levels that we were at the last several days. We’ll start the day in the 50s and end up in the 80s.
Some of us may get to 90 on Wednesday, but most of us will be in the middle and upper 80s for highs.
It’ll be a tolerable kind of heat, too. The dew points are expected to be relatively low.
We cool right back down Thursday and Friday after a cold front rolls through late Wednesday into Thursday morning.
Some of the storms Wednesday evening into early Thursday may be on the strong to severe side. A good portion of the state is in a level 1 “Marginal Risk”.
Below is what our StormCast model is showing for timing of the storms Wednesday night into early Tuesday.
After the cooler air on Thursday and Friday, we warm back into the 80s for highs for quite a while. Storm chances come back Sunday into next week.
