Junior League of Lincoln celebrates 100 years of service

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Junior League of Lincoln will be celebrating its 100 years of service on May 21 for its centennial gala celebration that will be open to all community members.
Stephanie Land will be the keynote speaker at the event. Land is the author of the bestselling memoir, Maid: Hard Work, Low Pay, and a Mother’s Will to Survive, the inspiration for the award-winning Netflix series, Maid. She will be sharing her personal story of her struggle to survive while navigating poverty as a single parent.
The event will be held at the Cornhusker Marriott in downtown Lincoln and will include dinner, drinks, raffles and games. Check-in will begin at 5:15 pm with a plated dinner served from 6:30-7:30 pm. Tickets range from $100 to $150 and can be purchased online. VIP tickets and sponsorship opportunities are also available.
A private Junior League of Lincoln member reception and awards ceremony will be held on Friday, May 20 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Cornhusker Marriott. All JLL members, including provisional, active, active-gold, sustainer, and former members and their guests, are invited to attend and enjoy drinks and appetizers while celebrating the accomplishments of the past century.
