Kidnapped child found in Nebraska reportedly met abductor on video game site

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The man accused of kidnapping a Utah boy reportedly met him through an online gaming platform.

That’s according to ABC4, which reports that the boy’s father told police his 13-year-old was engaging in sexual and inappropriate conversations on Discord, a digital instant messaging platform.

Tadashi Kojima, 26, also known as Aaron Zeman and Hunter Fox, was arrested early Wednesday morning in Grand Island.

Utah police say the Arizona man exchanged photos and sexual text messages with the victim before this week’s abduction.

They were also reportedly communicating through video calls at one point.

Kojima is charged with resisting arrest in addition to kidnapping.
