KLKN’s Will Ryan named Roger Moody Television Account Executive of the Year
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)– Will Ryan, KLKN Account Executive, was named Roger Moody Television Account Executive of the Year 2022 at the Nebraska Broadcasters Association Pinnacle Awards Banquet on Wednesday.
Ryan was nominated for the award based on his overall performance including growth, attitude, and teamwork. Ryan joined KLKN in August 2020.
“Will has done a fantastic job of listening to his clients and providing them with a solution that works,” Kern Dant, KLKN General Manager said.
Ryan said he is honored to receive this award.
“Receiving the Roger Moody Account Executive of the Year Award from Roger himself was an incredible honor,” Ryan said. “I’m proud to consider this award as a team victory for all the ‘Ochos’ at Channel 8. Hearing the roar in the crowd from my fellow KLKN co-workers as my name was announced as the winner was a special moment that I’ll cherish forever.”
Daniel Talley, KLKN Director of Sales, said he is proud of the work Ryan has put in over the last couple of years.
“Not only did he have to learn about sales and broadcast tv, he had to do it while navigating a tough COVID-19 landscape. He came out with high marks and this award is evidence of that,” Talley said.
The Pinnacle Awards program was established in 1958 to recognize and encourage excellence in broadcasting and service to the community by Nebraska radio and television stations.
