Lancaster County breaks 21K total COVID cases

*The Lancaster County Coronavirus Dashboard was down on Sunday, Dec. 20, so no new cases were reported. The Dashboard has since updated Monday afternoon.
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Officials with the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department (LLCHD) report two new COVID deaths in the community, with the total now at 137.
They have yet to be identified.

Additionally, 200 new lab-confirmed cases were reported, bringing the community total to 21,106.
The county is reporting 6,244 people have recovered from COVID-19. While the weekly positivity rate is 27.2%.

Statewide, 582 Nebraskans are currently hospitalized from the virus.
