Lancaster County breaks 9K total COVID-19 cases
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department (LLCHD) reports 93 new cases of COVID-19. This brings our community total to 9,072.
The county’s death toll remains at 43.
Reported recoveries have also increased from 3,922 to 3,964.
The overall positivity rate for Lancaster County is up from 9% to 9.1%. While the state’s positivity rate remains at 11.2%.
Currently, 62 patients are hospitalized due to the coronavirus, 37 of which are from Lancaster County (4 on ventilators).
Common symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, cough, shortness of breath, repeated shaking with chills, repeated muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell.
