Officials on Friday announced two more COVID-19 deaths in Lancaster County.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Officials on Friday announced two more COVID-19 deaths in Lancaster County.
Officials say the deaths were two women in their 60s and 90s, both in long-term care facilities.
The total number of deaths in the county is 187.
Officials also announced 179 new cases, bringing the community total to more than 26,000.
Reported recoveries increased from 9,277 to 9,385.
The positivity rate so far this week is 29.6%.
Local hospitals reported 94 COVID-19 patients, 66 of whom are from Lancaster County.
More than 53,000 people have registered for the vaccine in Lancaster County.
