LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Roca man will spend over 16 years behind bars for selling meth, the U.S. Attorney’s Office says.

Timothy Moore, 58, was sentenced Thursday to 16 years and eight months in prison for possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of actual methamphetamine.

On June 28, 2021, authorities served a search warrant at Moore’s home in Roca.

Inside, they found 318.5 grams of meth, a handgun and $9,930, the attorney’s office said.  About 290 grams was found to be pure meth.

After his prison sentence, Moore will serve a five-year term of supervised release.  There is no parole in the federal system.
