LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A shooting investigation is underway in Lancaster County, less than a day after four people were shot in Lincoln.
Just before 11:30 Tuesday night calls started coming into dispatch that there was a shooting near the Branched Oak Marina.
CPR was said to be underway and people on scene feared the worst.
A Channel 8 crew heading to the area was blocked off by deputies, who told them to leave immediately.
Since then we’ve been working with both Lincoln Police and the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office.
LPD could only tell us that they were assisting deputies and have been for several hours.
We have yet to hear back from the sheriff’s office, as they’ve taken the lead on this case and are still working a very active scene.
Right now it’s not clear what led up to this or how many people may have been hurt.
We’re also working to find out if an arrest has been made.
Stay with us online and on-air as we continue working to bring you the very latest details on this developing story.
