Light precipitation possible Thursday and Friday
Temperatures are going to be in the 20s for lows and near 50 for highs, so when we see precipitation will be very important. If it’s in the afternoon, it’ll be rain. If it’s overnight, it’ll be snow. If it’s somewhere in between, then so will the precipitation!
Temperatures will slowly fall through the 30s and bottom out in the middle and upper 20s. That’s around 10 degrees above average.
There is a chance for rain during the day on Thursday. The best chance will be in the late afternoon and early evening.
Further west, there’s a chance for some light freezing drizzle. It’s generally 10-30%, with a better chance into western Kansas. Still, if you have travel plans in this area, stay aware!
In the Lincoln area, temperatures will start in the upper 20s and eventually get into the lower 50s. A mild, December day!
We’ll stay in the 40s around the Tri-Cities, but SE Nebraska will likely get into the lower 50s.
These warm temperatures continue into the weekend!
