A weekend hail storm had auto repair shops across Lincoln busy Monday.

Anderson Mazda near 33rd and Yankee Hill Rd. had dozens of people bringing in cars with hail damage, from tiny dents to smashed out windows.

Anderson uses a neon light to find dents that may not be easily visible to the human eye. Body Shop Manager Brian Kronk said at least one vehicle had about 500 dents in its hood alone.

The dealership also had hundreds of cars in its lot impacted as well, with one each having to be inspected.

While the storm brought in a surge of customers seeking repairs, Anderson has seen an overall drop in business due to COVID-19.

The dealership disinfects all vehicles before and after service, and delivers vehicles back to you free of charge. It also offers free estimates for hail damage.
