LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Calling’s 2022 festival lineup was announced on Tuesday.

This year’s festival includes headliners: The Menzingers, Nikki Lane, Lido Pimienta, Lady Wray, Together Pangea, The Velveteers, Roxxxy Andrews and Coco Montrese.

The festival also features local and regional artists Kiss the Tiger, Plack Blague, Float Like A Buffalo and Weakened Friends.

The three main stages will be the Bourbon Theatre, the outdoor Night Market and Duffy’s Backlot.

Shows will also be held inside Duffy’s Tavern, The Zoo Bar, Bodega’s Alley and 1867 bar.

In partnership with the Lincoln Arts Council, the festival will offer the new Tower Square Community Village.

This will close 13th Street between P and Q Streets to host artists, interactive art installations, nonprofit booths, live music and more.

“It’s important that we continue to produce an all-inclusive festival, which also needs to include accessibility,” said Shannon Claire, executive director of Lincoln Calling.

A limited amount of pre-sale tickets are available now when you subscribe to the festival’s eNewsletter.

General tickets will be available starting on Friday.  More information on Lincoln Calling can be found here.

In July, Lincoln Calling will announce 20 more acts, including artists, showcases and participants.

In previous years, the festival has featured artists like Charli XCX, Angel Olsen, PUP and Japanese Breakfast.

On June 3, Lincoln Calling announced a neighborhood concert series that will begin in August.

The concerts will be held at Henry, Tierra Briarhurst, Havelock and Peter Pan Parks.
