Lincoln East baseball stays hot in win over Kearney
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln East baseball defeated Kearney 10-8 at Den Hartog field on Thursday night.
The Spartans’ AJ Evasco helped get the offense going in the bottom of the first with a bomb to left field as East took a 4-0 lead early.
East stayed consistent offensively throughout.
A two-run home run by Mason Gaines ignited a four-run sixth inning, sealing it for the Spartans.
Next up, the Spartans visit Creighton Prep on Friday.
