Freezing fog in Lincoln causes slick roads during morning commute

LINCOLN, Neb, (KLKN) — Freezing fog and plunging temperatures caused some slick road conditions during the morning commute on Monday.
The City of Lincoln said crews were applying brine to the roads to help keep them safe.
Street conditions have ranged from wet to partially covered with slush.

Officials said brief snowfall Sunday night and falling temperatures Monday morning led to some “flash freezing.”
