Lincoln, Omaha airports drop mask requirements
Both airports say they will follow the latest TSA guidelines, which were updated Monday night.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Both the Lincoln and Omaha airports no longer require face masks as of Tuesday morning.
This comes just a day after a federal judge in Florida voided the U.S. mask mandate for public transportation.
Both airports say they will follow the latest TSA guidelines, which were updated Monday night.
Lincoln’s airport said it is working to take down any signage in its terminal while it adjusts to the newest regulations.
Here is the full statement from the TSA:
“Due to today’s court ruling, effective immediately, TSA will no longer enforce its Security Directives and Emergency Amendment requiring mask use on public transportation and transportation hubs. TSA will also rescind the new Security Directives that were scheduled to take effect tomorrow. CDC continues to recommend that people wear masks in indoor public transportation settings at this time.”
