Police investigating after man walks into Lincoln hospital with gunshot wound

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Police are investigating after a man arrived Thursday at a Lincoln hospital with a gunshot wound.

Around 12:15 a.m., a 34-year-old man arrived at a hospital with a gunshot wound.  It is unknown where he was shot.

He had life-threatening injuries, but the Lincoln Police Department said he is expected to recover.

Officers found a handgun in the vehicle that the man took to the hospital.

The owner of the vehicle was interviewed, and an investigation is ongoing, according to police.
