UPDATE: Two more arrests made in connection with man found dead in trunk

UPDATE: Lincoln Police have arrested two more people in connection with the murder of 41-year-old Jamie Watson of Lincoln, a man found dead inside a car trunk Thursday morning.

Police say 27-year-old Michael Dryden and 31-year-old Jerah Stovall were arrested just after midnight December 17th for their involvement in the homicide. Both were lodged for accessory to a felony.

Police confirm Watson was killed by a gunshot wound. No word yet on the timeline or motivation behind the murder.


Lincoln Police identified 41-year-old Jamie Watson of Lincoln as the dead man found inside of a car trunk Thursday morning.

Police found his body yesterday in an apartment complex parking lot near 23rd and Y.

LPD have arrested five more people in connection to the homicide.

33-year-old Juanita Lara and 27-year-old Stacy Bigelow were arrested for Aiding and Abetting. 

Officers said Lara was the driver of the gold Malibu that tried to drive off from the scene with 32 -year-old Jamez Henderson.
They said Bigelow was her passenger.

LPD also arrested 25-year-old Sidney Jackson for the same charge.

Police also arrested 22-year-old Brandi Bond, 19-year-old Ronald Auzenne, Jr. and 19-year-old Ivon Butler for accessory to a felony.

They said the three were in the car with Henderson near 27th and I-80 before he took off leading to manhunt in North Lincoln.

Henderson was arrested for 2nd degree murder and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony. 

Police are still investigating the details of Watson’s death.
