All you have to do is visit their website or give them a call at 402-965-1458.

You just need to leave your tree in your front lawn by 9 a.m. on the day of pickup. It won’t cost you anything either.

As far as holiday lights, Lincoln is holding a recycle drive until Jan. 10.

You can drop off those lights at any of the following locations:

  • Eastridge Elementary School parking lot, 6245 “L” St. – southwest side of the building near the playground
  • Lincoln Children’s Zoo overflow parking lot, 2847 “A” St. – across “A” Street south of the zoo

City officials said no boxes, brown paper sacks, plastic bags, ornaments, artificial trees or household trash are allowed at any of these locations.

Lights attached to garland and wreaths are only accepted in the Eastridge Elementary parking lot and should be placed in boxes next to the collection bin.
