Lincoln Walmart temporarily closing for deep clean

The Walmart at 27th and Superior will be closed from Sunday, starting at 2 p.m. till Tuesday (Dec 29th) at 7 a.m.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The N. 27th street Walmart is temporarily closing as part of a company-initiated program to allow cleaning crews time to thoroughly clean and sanitize the building.

The Walmart at N. 27th and Superior will be closed from Sunday, starting at 2 p.m. till Tuesday (Dec 29th) at 7 a.m.

Walmart released a statement on the temporary close:

“Everything we’re doing is for the well-being of our associates and customers, and in consideration of guidance by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and health experts. When the store reopens Tuesday, we will continue conducting associate health screens and temperature checks, and all associates will be provided with face masks and gloves.”
