Lincoln Weather Update: Saturday, August 15

Locations in the southwestern portion of Nebraska could see a few pop-up thunderstorms later this evening, however the remainder of the state will stay dry. Temperatures will drop into the low 60s with a light breeze out of the south.

Mostly sunny skies will stick around for Sunday, bringing slightly warmer temperatures with highs rising into the upper 80s and winds out of the southwest at 5-10mph. Humidity values will increase slightly as well, aiding in the potential for a few strong to severe storms during the late afternoon and evening hours.

Temperatures remain seasonably warm for the majority of next week.
