Lincoln Weather Update: Sunday, May 3

Following an absolutely gorgeous day, temperatures overnight will drop into the low 50s with a southeasterly wind of 5-10mph. Light, spotty rain showers will develop after midnight and transition into thunderstorms around sunrise. Thunderstorms are expected to occur throughout Monday morning, before subsiding into spotty rain showers by afternoon. These rain showers will be light in nature, delivering only .25-.5″ of accumulation. Thanks to heavy cloud cover throughout the day, temperatures will stay cooler and only rise into the mid 60s with easterly winds of 10-20mph.

Sunny skies return for the next two days before another round of thunderstorms develops Thursday. Highs remain seasonably pleasant in the 60s and 70s.
