Lincoln’s Zesto Ice Cream sells soft-serve at ‘soft’ opening

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln ice cream shop Zesto had its “soft” opening on Wednesday.

Zesto, located near 11th and South Streets, celebrated the soft opening by selling its famous soft-serve ice cream and other frozen treats.

Lynda Rediger, the owner of Zestos, shared her excitement for this upcoming season.

“Today is a beautiful day, so we’re opening day today, getting out and serving ice cream,” she said. “Just excited to be up and running and excited for the 2023 season.”

Rediger says in addition to Zesto’s cones, the malts and shakes are also big sellers.

Zesto will also be open on Thursday from 3 to 9 p.m.
