Long-term project will close lanes on 27th Street in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A long-term project will be temporarily closing lanes on 27th Street between Interstate 80 and O Street, city officials say.

Starting Tuesday, lanes will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., according to city officials.

The signal and communications infrastructure upgrade is set to be completed by Sept. 2.

Lanes will be reopened during morning and evening rush hours.

Temporary bus and sidewalks closures may occur during the scheduled work, city officials say.
