LPD: 5 arrested after altercation leads to shots being fired

Live ammunition was found in the suspects' vehicle, but no gun was located, police said.

Authorities said five people were arrested after an altercation led to gunshots.
Officers responded to the scene near 9th and Fairfield around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Witnesses told officers they saw a black sedan in the area, and several shell casings were found in the area. The investigation led officers to find a similar vehicle at a nearby home.
Officers arrested 20-year-old Marcus Richardson, 19-year-old Kalam Yiel, 20-year-old Trevon Burage, 24-year-old Devontae Bluford and 20-year-old Vincent Teburso for aiding and abetting the discharge of a firearm near a vehicle or building.
Police said the five men were in the vehicle and had an altercation with people in another vehicle when the shots were fired.
