VIDEO: Fareway Meat Market burglarized, doors pried open

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Lincoln Police report the front doors of a local business being pried open during a burglary.

The burglary took place early Friday morning. Lincoln Police responded to a triggered alarm at Fareway Meat Market, 3033 S 84th St.

Officer report finding the front doors to have been pried open, in order for the burglars to gain entry.

The store manager determined that an undisclosed amount of cash was stolen from a locked office and a self-check stand was damaged. The estimated cost, for damages along, is $2,500.

While reviewing the security footage, officers noted at least three people with covered faces enter the store.

According to Lincoln Crime Stoppers, these suspects are connected to the burglary of Stockwell Pharmacy that happened only 30 minutes earlier.
