Authorities arrested a man accused of causing thousands of dollars in damage to a Lincoln travel agency.

Lincoln police officers found 26-year-old Jeremy Thomas laying in the bushes out Corner Stone Travel Saturday night. Thomas was pretending to be asleep, police said.

Officer  found the building ransacked, with desks and cabinets tipped over, computers thrown on the floor and broken tables, police said. They also found evidence Thomas had been inside, including an injury to his arm consistent with damage to windows and items inside, police said.

Two bottles of alcohol were also reported stolen from the business.

Thomas was arrested for felony criminal mischief.

The estimated damage is more than $10,000.
