LPD: Man threatens ex-girlfriend with a gun

A woman reported to LPD that her ex-boyfriend threatened her and her current boyfriend with a gun

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLN)- On May 25, at 8 p.m., an 18-year-old woman reported to LPD that her ex-boyfriend had showed up at her residence and then pointed a gun at her and her current boyfriend.

LPD reported that the ex-boyfriend, DeQuint Moody Jr., 20, threatened to shoot the woman and her boyfriend and then left the area when the woman called the police. Investigators say they saw a video of the event that corroborated what the victim reported.

Police later reported finding Moody on June 8 just before 7 p.m. at a residence on Clinton Street.

Officers reported that Moody resisted them and was not compliant.

Moody was arrested for Terroristic Threats, 2nd Degree Assault, and Resisting Arrest (Felony due to previous charges). He was also arrested for an outstanding warrant for Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance.
