UPDATE: LPD says Pine Lake Road is reopened after ‘active incident’

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Lincoln Police have reopened a portion of Pine Lake Road after it was closed for about an hour due to an active situation, but officials haven’t confirmed what exactly happened.

LPD tweeted out that Pine Lake from 34th to 40th Streets was closed in both lanes about an hour before announcing it was open again.

Our reporter at the scene says it appeared that several LPD cruisers and emergency vehicles had circled the Pine Lake Heights Apartments.
