LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – LPS has fielded two different threats at two different area high schools, both threats were found on social media.

One was a veiled threat at one of the schools, and the other contained a picture of a gun that implied threats to local high schools.

Both threats were fielded on Thursday by LPD, and both LPS and LPD have threat assessment teams that will work together to determine credibility of threats.

At this time, there is no information to suggest whether or not these threats are credible.
