LPD: Two arrested after assault outside downtown Lincoln bar
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Two men were arrested Monday after an assault earlier this month outside of a downtown Lincoln bar, police say.
The assault happened outside a bar near 16th and O streets on Aug. 15.
Witnesses reported that a verbal argument between several people led to the assault.

Surveillance video showed a man throwing the victim to the ground, according to LPD. Another man then punched the victim while he was on the ground.
The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries.
On Aug. 22, LPD said the incident was reclassified as an aggravated assault because of the severity of the victim’s injuries.
Investigators said they were able to identify the men in the video as Kyson Bellamy and Xavier Lynch, both 19.
On Monday, the two men turned themselves in at the Lancaster County Jail and were booked on suspicion of first-degree assault.
