LPD: Wendy’s burglarized Thursday morning

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- Just before 6 am Friday morning, police received a burglary call from the Wendy’s at 1336 Q Street.

Police reported that when an employee got to the restaurant that morning, they found the front door shattered, cash registers flipped over, and what looked to be an attempt to get into the office doors.

The register’s donation jar and an unknown amount of money were stolen, as well as $500 in damages to the store, according to LPD.

Lincoln police are working with Wendy’s to retrieve footage from the store but anyone with information is encouraged to call LPD at 402-475-3600.
