LPD: Woman assaulted with pepper-spray, robbed Thursday

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — One suspect allegedly kicked in a victim’s door before assaulting and robbing her.

The incident happened Thursday, Jan. 7, around 2:30 p.m. Police responded to the 4800 block of Madison ave.

The victim, a 35-year-old female, reported hearing a knock at her front door before it was kicked in by a male suspect.

The suspect then pepper-sprayed her, causing her vision to blur. Lincoln Police report the victim had symptoms consistent with being pepper-sprayed.

While she was blinded, the suspect allegedly stole an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene.
