Man Accused Of Killing A Lincoln Woman Pleads Not Guilty
The man accused in a three-county crime spree, which left a Lincoln woman and another man dead, has pleaded not guilty to a first degree murder charge in Wisconsin. 37-year-old Maurice Mason is accused of shooting and killing cab driver, John Romberg. Mason and his nephew, 24-year-old Bennie Frier, also face charges in two other counties. Court documents show the two men kidnapped 22-year-old Jennifer Hitchcock of Lincoln, and held her hostage for several days. Frier allegedly shot and killed Hitchcock after both of them had sex with her.
