Authorities have arrested a man in connection to a stabbing in Lincoln on Monday.

Lincoln police officers responded around 7 p.m. to a hospital where a 25-year-old man had walked in with a stab wound to the abdomen. The man reported he had been stabbed and robbed in the area of 10th and B St.

Police say several witnesses identified the suspect as 27-year-old Seth Hansen. Officers found Hansen Tuesday night in the 3700 block of Sheridan and he ran into his home, police said.

After receiving no response from Hansen, officers were given consent to enter the home by another resident, police said.

A police service dog searched the home and found Hansen hiding behind a bed frame in the basement, police said.

Hansen was arrested for second-degree assault and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony.
