LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Deputies have made an arrest in connection with the killing of a Kearney man.

Camron Rogers, 24, was arrested on suspicion of tampering with evidence and possession of methamphetamine.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says Rogers tampered with evidence related to the investigation of Patrick Weber’s homicide.

Weber’s missing 1996 Buick LeSabre has been found, but police did not say if Rogers was in possession of the vehicle.

Deputies say more charges could be filed as the investigation continues.

Patrick Weber, 56, of Kearney went missing during a trip to Council Bluffs, Iowa, in February.

Douglas County deputies found his remains in March.

Weber’s death was ruled a homicide.
