Man drove off after crashing into Lincoln officer’s cruiser, police say
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Police are searching for a man who rammed into an officer’s cruiser Thursday morning.
Police say the man, who was driving a blue car, struck the cruiser around 8 a.m. in an alley near 19th and Washington Streets.
Witnesses told police that the man had been meeting someone when an argument began.
The man then quickly backed out of the parking spot, which caused the passenger to fall out of the car. The passenger suffered a minor head injury.
Police say the man kept reversing and “intentionally” struck a police cruiser twice before driving off. The officer was not injured.
