Man snuck into employee lounge, stole worker’s wallet, Lincoln Police say
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Police are searching for the man who snooped around an Ace Hardware and stole a worker’s wallet.
Police say the theft happened at the store near 70th and Vine Streets on April 6.
Security cameras caught the man walking through “several” restricted areas to reach the employee lounge, according to police.
The thief was then seen leaving in a black minivan with in-transit plates.
Police said the victim was able to cancel his credit cards before the thief could use them.
Police are also searching for two men who ran out of Best Buy near 70th and O Streets with routers, which were worth a total of $1,000. The theft happened on Saturday.
The men left in a gold Honda CRV, which also had in-transit plates. The Honda had a New Orleans Saints air freshener hanging in the rear-view mirror, police say.
