Masks now optional for students in Beatrice Public School District 

The decision was made at the school board meeting Monday evening.

BEATRICE, Neb. (KLKN) – The Beatrice Public School District is now giving students the option of wearing masks.

The decision was made at the school board meeting Monday evening. According to the agenda, mask wearing is optional for all students and staff for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year.

The school district added, if there is an increased positivity rates or sudden spikes in school cases the Board has the right to reinstate the mask mandate.
