LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- On Thursday, just after 6 p.m., LPD reported being called to 11th and Benton streets on the report of a suspicious vehicle that was parked in front of a residence.
An officer arrived at the location and reported finding the driver, 38-year-old Nicholi Grimm, who told the officer he was from Arizona.
The officer said he confirmed that Grimm was from Arizona–and that he was wanted for a felony warrant. The officer says Grimm was then taken into custody.
During a search of Grimm’s vehicle, officers reported finding two medieval maces and a hatchet between the front passenger seat and center console of the vehicle.
Officers also reported finding .5 grams of methamphetamine that tested positive.
Grimm was found to be a convicted felon and prohibited from possessing a deadly weapon. He was arrested for Possession of a Deadly Weapon, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and his outstanding felony warrant.
