A popular event coming up in April is called 'Stuff the Bus.'

LINCOLN, Neb.(KLKN)- Friendship Home is Lincoln’s only confidential emergency domestic violence shelter, serving nearly 1,500 individuals each year.

The shelter is set up to serve anyone experiencing intimate partner violence and they have both a communal shelter and single family shelter option throughout the city.

A popular event coming up in April is called ‘Stuff the Bus.’

“Start thinking about volunteering for this family friendly fun event,” Community Outreach Coordinator, Nichole Palmer said. “Individuals as well as groups are needed to help fill 4 Star Tran Buses.”
