Mild Monday temperatures with PM showers 3/21/2022

Monday Morning Weather Update March 21, 2022

We are off to a very mild start this Monday morning with temperatures in the 50s and 60s! Wind speeds are also gusty out of the south around 25 mph and higher with increasing clouds. These clouds will eventually squeeze out some moisture this afternoon. Highs will still warm into the upper 60s and low 70s despite the clouds today and we will start off dry. Scattered rain showers lift to the north out of Kansas this afternoon, eventually turning more widespread by the evening. These showers continue into the overnight hours resulting in more much needed moisture. Around an inch or more of rain is expected through tomorrow with the chance for snow even likely for some. As temperatures drop overnight, snow showers will develop around the Tri-Cities. A trace up to an inch is likely for most, but a heavy snow band could result in a few inches for some. Rain showers and a wintry mix continue throughout your Tuesday and potentially into Wednesday, further resulting in cooler temperatures. Highs drop to the low to mid-40s before returning into the 5os and 60s for the end of the week.
