Mild week ahead with rain chances later in the week
The average high for this time of year is in the upper 50s, so we’re going to be well above that. For quite a while, too!
In typical March fashion, we’ll be windy, as well. The wind will be out of the northwest at 10 to 20 mph, gusting into the 25 to 35 mph range at times.
Temperatures will continue to be mild through Wednesday, then flat out hot on Thursday.
After the end of the week, the potential for severe weather starts to increase. Especially to our south and east. We’re on the edge of a severe weather risk for Saturday night.
On Sunday, that threat pushes more east, away from us. But there’s a good chance for quite a bit of severe storms for much of the US Sunday.
After a very mild week, we’ll get closer to normal Sunday into early next week. Doesn’t take long to warm back up, though.
