Minimal storm chances, heat sticks around
Warm again on Thursday, but not quite as hot as it was on Wednesday.
The dew point is starting to creep up a little bit, too. It won’t add to the heat index yet, but it’s getting closer.
We’ll quickly warm up from the 60s in the morning into the 80s by 11am.
It won’t be very windy, but hopefully just enough to cool us off somewhat.
Storms are possible in central and western Nebraska Thursday evening. A couple of the storms could be strong to severe.
There is a large level 1 “Marginal Risk” for the storm potential Thursday afternoon and evening. Most of us won’t see storms, but everybody in the green shaded area has a chance for them.
More storms are possible Sunday into next week. We might have to dodge some storms on Dad’s Day, too!
