Missing Milford man found dead near roadway

Authorities say an elderly man reported missing was found dead. 

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Authorities say an elderly man reported missing was found dead.

The Seward County Sheriff’s Office says 84-year-old Fredereick Rolfsmeier of Milford was reported missing July 2.

Multiple agencies and volunteers assisted in the search, and Rolfsmeier’s body was found just off a roadway.

SCSO says the initial investigation determined that Rolfsmeier died due to natural causes and no foul play is expected.
