Monday Evening Weather Update

TONIGHT:  Smoke and haze in the sky from wildfires in Wyoming and Montana will be clearing out tonight allowing skies to clear.  Temperatures will drop to the upper 40°s.  Lincoln Low Temperature: 49°

TUESDAY:  Sunny skies early may see some haze return by late afternoon.  Temperatures in the lower 80°s.  Lincoln High Temperature: 81°


Long range computer models suggest an area of low pressure developing over the Rocky Mountains by late week.  Ahead of the low, winds will kick up and temperatures will climb to the middle 80°s.

The low is projected to bring a cold front through Nebraska Monday, bring showers and thunderstorms and cooler temperatures.  Stay tuned…
