More severe weather overnight

Late this evening and into overnight tonight, far southeast portions of Nebraska could see some strong to severe storms. Anytime after 7pm, storms will start to bubble up close to the Missouri border with more following behind. Threats include hail and strong winds gusts with some minor flooding. Rain will likely continue into early tomorrow morning, but the severe risk should be dropped and the region will dry out by the late afternoon. Highs will be mild in the lower 80s with low dew points and dry conditions. Things quickly heat up into the weekend as some of the hottest weather of the season is expected.
