Mother of Ruud brothers dies at age 52
LINCOLN, Neb. The mother of current Nebraska football player Bo Ruud (Rude) and ex-Cornhusker Barrett Ruud has died.
Family friends say Jaime Ruud is believed to have died of a brain aneurysm. She was 52. Jaime Ruud's husband, Tom, played football for the Huskers in the early 1970s and later in the National Football League. Jaime Ruud was a nationally known nutrition consultant. Nebraska head coach Bill Callahan said the Ruud family holds a special relationship with everyone associated with Nebraska football and that the program's thoughts and prayers go out to the Ruud family.
